I'm Lucia Marcella ~ a nature loving, book reading, tea drinking, hand crafting, fairy tale type who dreams her backyard garden of herbs and wildflowers is a magical door into the countryside.
I I live surrounded by books and baskets of knitting things, and nearly always have a cat curled up asleep on my lap. Along with a large flock of pet box turtles in the garden, and an ever growing collection of troublesome autoimmune diseases, I am kept quite busy working though my constantly growing stack of to-be-read books, tending to my overflowing windowsill of plants, and learning as many different traditional hand crafts as I can!
So sit down with a nice cup of tea and enjoy my odd little ramblings about everything from lace knitting to praying mantis', and from classic gothic literature to dolls made from hazelnuts.
